ICE Vortex  27 speed
 

The ICE (Inspired Cycle Engineering) is the speed machine of the ICE model line-up! It comes with a 700c rear wheel, indirect steering and Shimano XT rear derailleur. The picture shown is of the stock unit that also was ordered in with a mesh seat instead of the standard FRP seat, fenders, headrest, rear rack, chain guard with quick adjust set-up, bar end shifters, Avid BB7 disc brakes up front and rear disc parking brake and computer/sensor mounts.  The tires are Schwalbe Kojak tires and the pedals are clip and stirrup mounts for any rider. This is one of the quickest and sharpest looking trikes on the market today. It incorporates the ICE flat fold design easy boom and seat adjusters for rider convenience.

For those looking for a distinctive look and an even smoother ride, the Schwalbe's Fat Frank Balloon Series is available on select Comfort Cruisers with protective Kevlar band to help prevent flats. Picture taken at the 2011 Florida RV Supershow in Tampa, Fl. We have new colors for 2012 as well as an optional 36volt/15amp Li-ion battery capable of extending your travels to 45 miles before needing to re-charge. That's 45 miles without pedalling at up to 20 miles per hour.

Most owners claim they now are able to ride 2-3 times longer than on their pedal only bike and ride to places further from home without the fear of having to pedal back or into a headwind.
